ISO 9001:2015
A guarantee of the highest quality – the company Feuerland-Werkstätten stands for products of the highest quality and has been certified according to quality management standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 for many years now.
The highest standards of quality significantly shapes the corporate culture at Feuerland and is firmly rooted in all areas. In accordance with the standard, all of our employees are trained in the quality management system, fulfil its requirements at all times, and are capable of uncovering the potential for improvements.
The desire to fulfil our customers' demands and expectations at a constantly high level is top of the list for us. In order to ensure consistently high customer satisfaction and product quality, Feuerland only with selected suppliers who meet such quality requirements. In the course of this process, each intake of goods is of course subject to quality control.
As a supplier, we are aware of our great responsibility for product safety and quality vis-à-vis our customers. Before shipping, all products are therefore carefully checked by us once again.
In accordance with the ISO standard principle, Feuerland's quality management system is subject to the demand for constant improvement and increase the efficiency of the processes.
ISO 14001:2015
At Feuerland-Werkstätten GmbH & Co. KG, the protection of the environment has been firmly rooted in the company for many years, and its practice bears this out. The main focus is on the efficient use of energy. Since 2013, Feuerland has had an environmental management system that complies with the standard DIN EN ISO 14001:2015.
We take account of the natural basis of life on our planet, and protect our environment. We are guided by the following principles:
- Reduction of energy consumption
- Resource-conserving use of non-renewable energies
- Use of renewable energies
- Exclusive use of electricity generated from renewable energy sources
- We use environmentally compatible product design
- Reducing the environmental impact during the production process
- Documentation of the environmental impact and continuous improvement
Q1 supplier to DB
We successfully carried out the audit to be the Q1 supplier of Deutsche Bahn. We are looking forward to meeting the desired requirements of DB, and thus providing our customers with the best in quality. Being a Q1 supplier to DB means having the highest quality capability of a supplier. We not only meet the requirements of DB, but also work and manufacture for all other customers at this level. Our motto: "Quality: for every customer!"
DIN EN 15085-2 CL1
Feuerland Werkstätten GmbH & Co. KG has held welding certification in accordance with DIN EN 15085-2 CL1 for many years, thus ensuring the highest quality in the field of welding.
The existing process checks and welding tests have been continuously expanded in the last few years. Should new materials or dimensions come into use, it is no problem to extend the tests as required. Welding is performed in accordance with TIG, MIG and MAG procedures.
EN ISO 3834-2
We have also had DIN EN ISO 3834 for many years.
The international series of standards DIN EN ISO 3834 specifies welding quality requirements for manufacturers and regulates the principles for quality assurance of fusion-welded components and constructions.
EN 1090-2 EXC3
In 2022 we were newly qualified: DIN EN 1090-2 EXC3.
Now we can also carry out the welding of steel structures. Class EXC 3 applies to structures made of steel up to S700 that are mainly subjected to static and non-mainly static loads.
